Strategic Communicator
As a recent graduate from Western Carolina University, I am a highly motivated and passionate individual with a Major in Communications and a minor in International Studies. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a deep understanding of effective communication strategies and the importance of cross-cultural understanding in a globalized world. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in the field of communications and international relations.
My educational background in Communications has equipped me with a strong foundation in verbal and written communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills. I have honed my ability to craft compelling messages and tailor them to diverse audiences. Through coursework and practical experiences, I have gained expertise in strategic communication planning, media relations, and digital marketing. I am adept at utilizing various communication platforms, including social media, to engage with audiences and convey information effectively.
Complementing my communications expertise, my minor in International Studies has provided me with a global perspective and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. I have developed a keen understanding of international relations, global politics, and intercultural communication. Through coursework and immersive experiences, such as studying abroad and participating in international conferences, I have cultivated strong research and analytical skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex cross-cultural environments

Whether it is working in public relations to promote cross-cultural understanding or engaging in diplomatic efforts to bridge gaps between nations, I am dedicated to facilitating effective communication and fostering mutually beneficial relationships on a global scale. With my interdisciplinary background, strong communication skills, and cultural sensitivity, I am poised to make a valuable contribution to an increasingly interconnected world.
As of April 2022, I have accepted a position as a Query Analyst at Telus International where we provide I.T. Consulting services. I also work as a Reading Group Assistant for an NGO by the name of the Save Ancient Studies Alliance where our mission is to reverse the current downward trend in the study of the ancient world by engaging the public in creative ways to inspire a new generation of students.
